If the event is postponed, all tickets will be rolled over to the new date. If you are unable to attend the new date we will issue a refund up to 30 days before the new event date and 7 days after. In the event of cancellation all tickets will be refunded within 14 days of the event.

You may cancel your reservation for no charge between 11:59 PM local hotel time 3 days before arrival. Please note that we will assess a fee of $160.46 if you must cancel after this deadline.

As you make your way onto Jekyll Island for the Southern Drifter Music Festival, there will be an entry fee of $8 per vehicle ($12 for vehicles exceeding 8'). As a state park, all vehicles entering the island are required to have a valid parking pass. You can purchase these passes at the gate, or online

No, but there are several ride-sharing options on the island including the popular bike trails which cover the entire island. 

Southern Drifter Music Festival is a rain or shine event. Typically in late May, the temperatures are in the mid-to-high 80s and get down to the mid-to-high 60s at night.

The Westin at Jekyll Island welcomes two dogs up to 50 lbs for an additional fee of $50 per night (not to exceed $150 per stay). Well-behaved dogs may be left in rooms unattended for short periods of time. The hotel will charge an additional fee of $300 if there are noise complaints about unattended dogs and if dogs are left alone for more than two hours. Dog beds and bowls are available, and the hotel has a grassy area with a waste station for pet relief. Sorry, cats are not permitted.

Songwriters Workshop

The Songwriters Workshop will be led by industry veteran and songwriter Cory Batten along with Alex Seier, during a special session focused on the development and education of the magic of songwriting.

This one hour workshop will cover the craft of songwriting, song structure, Q & A, exploring creative collaboration and an overview of the music industry today. Whether you are an aspiring song writer, or just interested in how the magic happens, come and learn the process of how your favorite songs have come to reality!

Golf

Enjoy a round of golf at one Jekyll Island’s four incredible courses. The Great Dunes 9-hole course alternates in difficulty and simplicity, creating a stimulating round on the links. The Indian Mound Course is surrounded by nature, this course is the shortest of Jekyll’s 18-hole courses, but offers plenty of challenges. The Oleander is the island’s most distinct of the three 18-hole courses, it is tightly designed, with ocean breezes and short grasses. The Pine Lakes course is one of the only courses in the nation that provides even playing ground for both adults and younger players. All ticketholders are invited to enjoy a 60-minute beachside flow during Yoga Saturday and Sunday starting at 9am.
